Insurance and privacy

The interventions of our mental coaches themselves are covered by the insurance of the federation. We act in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations and other privacy regulations with respect to holding the personal data of the people concerned. People affected by a diving accident must submit a statement with a medical certificate to NELOS within a specified period.

This declaration is forwarded to the insurance company and to our Safety Committee. Both these organisations may only use such documents for the investigation carried out regarding this particular accident. No specific information about this may be transferred to third parties.
