The choice must be made according to the needs and the level of robustness required.
The bag for diving equipment must be made of strong fabric, preferably waterproof and of sufficient length to carry the fins without bending over. It must have a good quick closure (not metallic, so as not to rust) that allows the placement of a padlock.
Usually the bottle and ballast belt are carried apart to lighten the weight of the bag.
For the sake of convenience, the diving equipment must be arranged in reverse order to the one in which it will be removed for use. This care simplifies the diver’s task when he begins to equip.
The maintenance of the equipment bag is related to the use we give to the bag. Often the equipment after diving is stored still moist or even washed, which may require washing the equipment bag with fresh water, drying and storing in a protected place.
